A 4-hour guided cruise through Apalachicola’s river, bay, and Scipio Creek, blending natural ecology with the rich history that shaped this working waterfront. From oystering traditions and early native cultures to wildlife, fisheries, and the people who built this town, this is a slow, immersive experience designed to give you a deeper understanding of Apalachicola from the water. This experience will take you through a winding river cruise that you will never forget.

Apalachicola Sunset Tour

A 1-hour sunset cruise along Scipio Creek and Apalachicola’s working waterfront, ending with a front-row view of the sun setting over Apalachicola Bay. A relaxed, scenic experience where you are invited to open your own bottle of wine, and we’ll provide a courtesy, keepsake Miss Apalachicola wine glass.

Our Team

Captain Jessica “Siren” Williams

Co-Owner & Captain

A native of Apalachicola, Jessica “Siren” Williams returned home after more than two decades working on the water around the world. Her background includes years as a surf coach, musician, and crew on a variety of vessels.

Now back in her hometown, she runs Miss Apalachicola with a focus on sharing the history, ecology, and character of the river and bay. She lives aboard her classic sailboat and hopes to build the local maritime and classic boat community.

Chas Watterson

Co-Owner

Chas is a veteran and former U.S. Coast Guard member with a background in sailing. Originally from Fairhope, Alabama, he has spent time on the water through both his service and personal experience with his personal boats.

He’s a musician and apothecary with a strong interest in ornamental plants. With a strong appreciation for Apalachicola and its working waterfront, Chas plays a key role in the support and development of Miss Apalachicola.

Celebrate Earth Day on April 22 from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at Apalachicola Riverfront Park, with local groups, hands-on exhibits, and simple ways to reduce waste and care for the coast. Bring a glass bottle to recycle and enjoy a day on the waterfront focused on protecting the Apalachicola Bay.

Estuaries Day

Celebrate Estuaries Day on May 1 from 1:30–5:30 PM at the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve in Eastpoint, with hands-on exhibits, live aquariums, and interactive activities for all ages focused on the ecosystems of the bay.


July 3, 2026, 4 pm

Independence Day

Join the annual Antique & Classic Boat, Car, and Golf Cart Show at Riverfront Park. From vintage boats to classic cars—if it floats or rolls, it’s here. Free admission, $20 to enter a vehicle.

Celebrate July 3rd on the Apalachicola waterfront starting at 4:00 PM at Riverfront Park, with an afternoon of live music, local food vendors, and community festivities along the river—ending the evening with a fireworks show lighting up the water.
